Last night we ate with four of the Iraqi refugees and one American. None of them have been converted yet, so the conversation was very interesting. They were delightful hosts, and the Middle Eastern dish was superb. Viva la falafel!

We enjoyed every minute of it; though, our children, Selina, Gabriel and Elijah did not know what they could and could not touch. Selina kept trying to "process" all the Arabic mixed in with the English. Each time she asked me what the men were saying, I had to confess I did not know. (God is preparing her for this sort of experience in Brazil, we're sure.)

We have been told that this church in Jundiaí has the best music program of any Independent Baptist Church in Brazil. I must say that they have trained their people well. I was amazed at what was going on there. We heard a guitar quartet, a men's ensemble, a choir, and a violin special along with the music my wife and I participated in.
